How Enable engages, delivers, and supports every client relationship · Version 1.3 · July 2026
Enable Solutions is a Zoho-ecosystem consulting and software development firm based in Milford, Massachusetts. We design, build, and support business operating systems for growth-stage and mid-market companies — primarily on the Zoho platform, with integrations across your full technology stack.
Every engagement with Enable follows a deliberate model built around two modes of delivery: Build and Run. Understanding the difference between these two modes is the foundation for understanding how we price, plan, and partner with clients.
We don't bill by the hour. We price by the deliverable and by the program — which means our clients always know what they're paying before we start, and budget surprises are our problem to manage, not theirs.
An Enable Sprint is a fixed batch of deliverables — typically 20 Units, about two weeks of production — priced and approved in writing before work begins.
Every client need falls into one of two categories. The mode determines how work is priced, planned, and delivered.
Build work produces a defined deliverable: a new CRM configuration, API integration, automation workflow, reporting dashboard, portal, or data migration. It has a beginning, middle, and end.
Priced in Units. Each Unit represents the value of a task or deliverable — factoring in complexity, expertise, resource allocation, and outcome delivered. The cost of a deliverable is agreed before work begins.
Rate: $350/Unit (Project Sprints & Standalone) · $360/Unit (T&M, by exception)
Run work keeps an existing system operating, improving, and aligned to the business as it evolves. It includes advisory, planning, routine maintenance, monitoring, ticket response, light enhancements, and admin support.
Priced as a flat-rate monthly subscription — an Advance Continuous program. Clients commit to a Continuous tier and Enable provides agreed capacity continuously, without per-task billing.
Rate: $1,428–$3,850+/month depending on Continuous tier
Nobody — Enable included — knows what's inside a system until someone looks. Optimistic quoting without discovery is how projects blow past their estimates. The honest response is scoped discovery first, not a guess dressed up as a timeline.
We don't guess. Anything uncertain gets scoped in a fixed-fee discovery step before you commit a dollar to build.
The ladder is a spine with lanes — not a staircase you must climb one step at a time. Most new clients enter through Advance Launch: the first three rungs, one contract, twelve months.
First half: project delivery with gates. Transition to Continuous is signed at day one, not renegotiated at month six. Second half: quarterly Continuous billing while the system stays in motion.
Named programs for specific needs — Call Capture, SOP Guided Advisory, Digital Transformation Advisory, UCaaS, and more. They can join the spine at any point; they are not a later rung you must wait for.
Browse specialty programs →Composer of last resort — compose exactly the engagement from the service catalog when standard Launch, Continuous, or Specialty shapes do not fit. Never the standard motion: if every client got it, it wouldn't be custom. Service catalog →
Advance Launch is the flagship new-client program: Discovery, Project Sprints, and Advance Continuous bundled into one 12-month contract. The Continuous transition is signed at day one — not proposed at month six.
First half runs as a strict project — SOW, staged milestone payments, delivery gates. Second half bills quarterly as Advance Continuous while Sprints continue on a planned cadence. That is the glide path productized: upfront deliverables, then ongoing partnership, without a second sale at month six.
Clients who enter Advance Continuous directly (without Launch) still begin with a System Architecture Audit so Enable has the operating knowledge to manage the environment responsibly. See Advance Continuous.
When a scope is ready, you choose. Both are good outcomes.
Keep the Scope Package — a self-contained, buildable blueprint with Enable's build budget attached — and build it with any team. The blueprint is yours.
Approve the Sprint budget in writing and Enable builds it — same Unit model, same gates, same Parking Lot discipline.
An Enable Sprint is a fixed batch of deliverables — typically 20 Units, about two weeks of production — priced and approved in writing before work begins.
Scope Package: Propose → Scope & Estimate produce a Scope Package — a self-contained, buildable blueprint for one workstream initiative (≤2 Sprints), with Enable's build budget and a traceability matrix attached. You then take the Two Paths fork: keep the blueprint, or approve Enable to build. Continuous-tier Scope Package allotments ship on the Advance Continuous page once ratified.
A Standalone Project is a single-phase Build engagement — a one-off scope outside Advance Launch, or a discrete initiative for an existing client. Same Unit pricing as Sprint work. A deposit opens the engagement; the balance is staged to the delivery schedule agreed in the SOW. For most new clients, the flagship entrance is Advance Launch (project phase + contractual Continuous), not a standalone project with a later Continuous conversation.
Your service level tier is determined by your Advance Continuous subscription level — Orchestrated, Advisory, or Active. Clients select their Continuous tier based on required capacity, response time needs, and budget. See Advance Continuous for tier comparison and selection guidance.
All SLA clocks run Monday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM Eastern Time. Issues submitted outside hours are queued for the next business day.
| Response Tier | Applies To | Response Time | Issue Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| Critical | Advance Embedded (Specialty program, block purchase) | 2-hour initial response | Revenue-impacting issues — dedicated PM engaged |
| High | Orchestrated | 4-hour initial response | Revenue-impacting issues — shared PM engaged |
| Priority | Advisory | 2–24 business hours | Revenue-impacting outages or failures |
| Standard | Active | 4–48 business hours | Bugs, config questions, minor fixes |
| Advisory / Strategic | All Continuous tiers | Next scheduled session | Roadmap, new scope, strategic questions |
| Side | First Contact | Escalation |
|---|---|---|
| Client | Designated project lead | Executive sponsor |
| Enable | Assigned PM / Success Manager | Mike Lauer (Account) · Jeff Kroeker (Client Success) |
| Meeting | Frequency | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Service Delivery Check-In | Weekly or bi-weekly (active phases) | Sprint progress, blockers, decisions |
| Internal Enable Alignment | Within 48 hours of client call | Enable team sync, task updates in Zoho Projects |
| Sprint Review & Planning | Every 2 weeks | Close out Sprint, accept deliverables, scope next Sprint |
| Quarterly Business Review | Quarterly (Strategic) | Roadmap review, performance, renewal discussion |
| Executive Summary | Monthly (Strategic) | Status and outcomes for client leadership |
Every scope decision is logged. Any work outside approved scope triggers written notice within 48 hours — framed as a commitment, not a surprise invoice. Additional requirements must be confirmed in writing before execution.
Enable maintains a Parking Lot — scope ideas captured during active Sprints, reviewed at the next planning session, and converted to future Sprint proposals when prioritized. Parking Lot items are captured commitments to review, not promises to deliver.
| Decision | Who Approves |
|---|---|
| Sprint scope and budget | Client project lead (written approval) |
| Change to approved scope mid-Sprint | Client project lead + Enable PM |
| New engagement or Advance Continuous tier change | Client executive sponsor |
| Payment milestones | Client per SOW terms |
Enable brings creative and design capability to every engagement — not as an add-on, but as part of how we build. This means:
Why this matters: Most CRM and Zoho partners deliver functional systems. Enable delivers systems that get adopted — because they look and feel right to the people who use them every day. Creative capacity is included in the Advance Continuous Orchestrated and Advisory tiers and in the Advance Embedded Specialty program, and available at Sprint pricing in all other tiers.
Enable's internal delivery stack is AI-augmented at every stage — which is part of why our Unit rates deliver more value per dollar than traditional hourly consulting.
| Stage | AI Tool / Approach | Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Discovery & planning | Sybill (transcript intelligence), Gemini Gem (architecture docs) | Weeks of planning compressed into days |
| Scoping & SOW generation | AI-assisted scope extraction and SOW drafting | Accurate, consistent SOWs faster |
| Build execution | Cursor, Claude, Gemini (AI coding and development) | Senior-level output from a lean team |
| Client communication | AI-assisted briefing, prep, and follow-up documentation | Clients are always informed; no dropped balls |
Clients benefit from AI-compressed delivery timelines without managing the tooling complexity themselves.
Payment schedules are shaped to the engagement — not the other way around.
Every SOW carries its own payment schedule, built from three things: the scope of the work, the shape of the deliverables, and the length of the commitment we're making to each other. A deposit opens the engagement; the balance follows the work, tied to delivery stages you can see coming. And the longer the term you plan with us, the more flexibility we can build into when and how payments land.
Relationship history counts the same way: the schedule reflects what we've already built together — prior engagements, payment history, and the mutual trust that comes with them. The exact structure is agreed before work begins and documented in the SOW, so there is never a surprise about when an invoice arrives.
Advance Continuous subscriptions are annual commitments billed quarterly in advance. The annual commitment is the contract term regardless of billing election — billing frequency determines when invoices land, not the length of the engagement.
| Billing Election | Terms | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Quarterly (standard) | Billed every 3 months, in advance | 4 payment events per year — minimum commitment level |
| Annual Prepay (discounted) | Full year billed at signing | ~10% discount vs. quarterly equivalent |
| Monthly (by exception) | Billed monthly in advance | ~10% premium applied; requires executive approval |
| Engagement Type | Terms |
|---|---|
| System Architecture Audit | 100% at kickoff · fixed price confirmed at scoping |
| Payment methods | Check, ACH, or Wire Transfer · 3% fee for credit card |
| Unused Sprint budget | Valid 90 days from last payment date unless otherwise agreed |

Clients entering Advance Continuous directly — without Advance Launch or a preceding project — complete a System Architecture Audit first. This one-time engagement ($5,000–$10,000, scoped per environment) gives Enable the operating knowledge of the client's existing configuration required to maintain and support it responsibly. See: Advance Continuous for full Audit scope and pricing.
